Most parents know about Khan Academy. They use it to practice math, summer review, or the occasional homework rescue. But most are barely scratching the surface of what it can do.

Khan Academy has been part of our lives since my oldest was six years old.

We’ve used it as a primary curriculum, as a reset, to shore up foundational skills, and to explore subjects we wouldn’t otherwise have access to. Recently, it’s even become the backbone of my science club.

It’s hard to imagine that a resource this extensive is entirely free.

Here are six ways I've put Khan Academy to work in our home. Some are practical, some are a little unexpected, and all of them will enrich your child's education.

Note: I have no affiliation with Khan Academy. I’m just a mom who has used it with much success and think you should too.
