What a gift 2025 was.

Some of my favorite memories were the everyday moments.

• Renewing our little science club and watching children’s eyes light up as we explored planets, fusion, and hands-on experiments with yeast and balloons.

• Taking the children to their very first live Shakespeare play—and then coming home and putting on two of our own performances in the living room with friends.

• The Museum of Musical Instruments, where they witnessed true greatness on stage and came away inspired to believe they could achieve remarkable things too.

• Our Curiosity Fair, which unexpectedly launched my oldest into writing her first novel and turned my youngest into the proud curator of our fossil collection.

• A Trip to the Museum of Illusions, where we watched the impossible (video of one below).

These moments reminded me why we do this: childhood should overflow with joy, beauty, and real discovery.
